Joseph Ahearn

For more than ten years, Joseph Ahearn has worked in government affairs, specifically campaign, district, and policy matters on both the state and federal levels. He has produced and managed successful strategies for a number of candidates and campaigns from fundraising and strategic perspectives.

In 2014, Joseph joined Sentinel as the Vice President of Development, where he manages and implements successful campaign and finance operations on behalf of Sentinel’s clients.  Joseph’s portfolio spans a wide range of development projects such as super PACs, 501(c)(4) organizations, issue advocacy groups, in addition to several Congressional and statewide clients. Joseph also recently served on the finance team with the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Prior to joining Sentinel, Joseph served as a Chief of Staff in the New York State Assembly, where he oversaw a number of key issues including economic development, veterans’ affairs, and government reform. He also worked for Jon Huntsman’s presidential campaign, Boehner for Speaker, the College Republican National Committee, Rep. Nan Hayworth, Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s 2009 Mayoral campaign, and McCain-Palin Victory 2008.

Joseph is originally from New York. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts from Fordham University. Joseph lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Megan, their daughter, Rose, and their patriotic dog, Lincoln.
